A House Divided
“I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I Do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and faithfulness
from the great assembly.”
~Psalm 40:9-10
“Be pleased to save me, Lord;
Come quickly, Lord, to help me.
May all who want to take my life,
Be put to shame and confusion;
May all who desire my ruin,
Be turned back in disgrace.
May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
be apalled at their own shame.”
~Psalm 40:13-15
Yesterday, I intended to write about Iryna Zarutska and Decara Thompsen and the injustice of their deaths and of others like them, however another event has overshadowed these. This is unfortunate because their deaths and what happened to them deserve to be discussed and I will revisit them.
Unfortunately, once again, left-wing political violence directed at the right has again reared it’s ugly head. Once again, we are reminded at just how irrepairably divided our nation has become. Charlie Kirk, an advocate for free speech and a civil rights hero was assassinated yesterday in front of his wife and his 2 young children. This was not because he was a politician nor because he was a criminal, but because he dared to speak the truth in an age when truth has been deemed hate. He dared to challenge people’s viewpoints and engage with them in honest debate. He died because truth is hateful to those on the left.
As I write this, people on the left are simultaneously celebrating his death and hypocritically calling for those of us on the right to ‘turn down the temperature’ on our rhetoric. Some of these, only hours after spewing forth vile and bileous vitriol against public figures or voters on the right.
The unsaid insnuation and sometimes loudly proclaimed accusation is that the majority of the political violence comes from the right. This is lightyears away from true. Violence is and always has been a weapon of the left wing. Whether from acts like the slaughter of the Romanovs to the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution to the Purges under Josef Stalin, Chairman Mao or the depredations of Che Guevera under the protection of Fidel Castro.
Nearly all of the political violence (and indeed every assassination or attempt) in the US recently, have come from actors on the left. From the shooting at the Congressional Baseball Practice in 2017 to the murder of Aaron Danielson at the hands of Michael Reinoehl. From the 2 assassination attempts on President Trump to the attempt on SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh. From the shooting at the Anunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis just a couple of weeks ago to the Assassination of Charlie Kirk yesterday, these events were perpetrated by radical leftists.
All these evil attacks are spurred on by the hateful, dehumanizing words of people like Joe Biden who said these little gems:
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”
“But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”
“That’s why respected conservatives, like Federal Circuit Court Judge Michael Luttig, has called Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans, quote, a “clear and present danger” to our democracy.”

Chuck Schumer:
Or Maxine Waters:
Maybe Gavin Newsome:
Or Chris Murphy:
All of these serve to do one thing. They serve to radicalize their base and instill fear and hatred into their followers toward those with opposing viewpoints. These words serve only to encourage violence and incite these kinds of violent actions against conservatives.
Rather than to accept responsibility for their violent words and actions, like an abusive parter, they gaslight us and tell us it’s our fault and that we are the ones who need to tone it down.
As long as I can remember, ever Republican politician has been called “Literally Hitler”, Fascist, Nazi, Racist etc. The whole time ignoring how stupid the comparisons are or how false the accusation is. The cheapen the words and make a mockery of the horrors that were the real Nazi’s or Fascists or the actual Racism that unfortunately still exists in this country, all in their quest to villify and demonize anyone who doesn’t share their opinions.
They use these words to paint us as evil, as “Threats to Democracy” and thus moralize attacks upon us as some twisted moral mandate. They do this, the whole time unironically being oblivious to the fact that they are accusing us of that which they themselves are guilty of. They accuse us of wanting to put black people back in chains (Joe Biden 2012) or of wanting to put trans people in death camps and other equally vile lies.
We are told that we must be the ones to tone it down, despite the fact that we aren’t the ones who ramped it up in the first place. We must be the ones to stop. Horseapples! I said this 8 years ago, “I’d prayed for unity…but taken as a whole, it has become clear to me that goal is out of reach. There can be no unity with people who seek nothing more than to destroy you.” (lonevoice.org/war_drums)
How prophetic those words were on 14JUN17. They are even more true now as people on the left not only refuse to condemn what happened to Charlie, but actively celebrate it. I no longer seek unity with these demonic people. That time is forever past. I want retribution, God help me, I do. I want those who celebrated this act to lose their jobs, their homes, their friends and families to desert them and leaving them broke, unemployed, unemployable, homeless and alone. I want those actively seeking our deaths to be discovered, publicly identified and driven from society.
I want to see them stripped of everything and shipped to Iran or Gaza and see how long they last.
In short, the time is long past for these ghouls to be put in their place and to punish them for the evil they have unleashed on our country. Fortunately for them, I am not in a position of power. Fortunately for them, I have rules that I will and must obey because it is in my nature to. To quote one of my favorite characters: “Good men don’t need rules. Today’s not the day to find ou why I have so many!”
for now, I will close with this and a video that I think exemplifies the man that Charlie Kirk was…A man who was far greater than I could ever hope to be. Maybe I will find it in my heart to forgive as I know he would, but right now I don’t have it in me. Anyway, my thought is this: I think the time for a national divorce is upon us. In fact, I think it’s past time.
As for me, I will be praying to find peace in my heart and forgiveness.
God Bless you, Charlie. Well done.
To Erika and the children,
I am so very sorry that you have lost an amazing man who was so much to you. Husband, father, hero. Charlie exemplified what it meant to be Christian, conservative and a good man. That he was stolen from you at such a young age is truly awful and I pray that Almighty God will heal your broken hearts. I pray that he will fill your memories of Charlie with the goodness that was in him and let that be your memory and not that final evil act that stole him from you and the rest of us.
We might have love Charlie for what he represented, but you loved Charlie for everything he was. May Almighty God bless and keep you.
