Since 06JAN, we’ve seen some very disturbing steps taken by the left to silence the President and conservatives across the board.
What makes this so alarming is that the party in power and their supporters are so arrogant and openly calling for the censorship; not only of the President, but of Americans who dare to speak out in opposition to their dangerous and totalitarian rhetoric.
These people who are screeching the loudest are using terms like ‘Treason’, ‘Sedition’ and ‘Insurrection’. They are referring to those of us on the right as ‘Literal Nazis’, Traitors and other terms meant to dehumanize us as well as incite violence against us. They are doing precisely what they have accused and excoriated the president for.
Jack Dorsey and Twitter; Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook and several other social media ‘Platforms’ began banning conservative accounts and saying they were involved in inciting violence.
Right after the President called for Peace, telling his supporters to go home and after condemning the violence; YouTube, Twitter and Facebook took down the video and suspended his account saying that it was inciting violence.
Many on Twitter began seeing their follower counts drop. Many accounts tied to President Trump were banned for no reason…just the claim that they were promoting violence.
As we saw this happening, many of us chose to walk away from Twitter and go over to Parler. Well, Jack Dorsey and Mark just couldn’t have that. They couldn’t have competition, oh no. A free speech platform where people were permitted to speak and they (Jack and Mark) couldn’t control what was being said? No, this cannot stand.
So, both Facebook and Twitter pressured Apple and Google to remove Parler from their app stores. At the time, Parler was the top-rated Social Media app on both Apple and Google app stores.
Not merely content with that, they further pressured Amazon to remove Parler’s access to their web service.
All the while, media talking heads and leftist Politicians cheered and applauded these draconian moves, seemingly oblivious to what are sure to be catastrophic consequences. Likewise, they are unconcerned that these actions are antithetical to the very liberties our founders fought so hard for.
It is obvious, now, that the Left, the Media and Big Tech have not learned a single lesson from the events of January 6th. These events did not happen in a vacuum. These events happened precisely because a large segment of our population felt like they were being ignored. They felt like their voices were being silenced by the left and that their freedoms, chiefly their freedom of speech, is under attack.
And the truth is, those freedoms are under attack. When you have things like this:

Our nation was founded on the principles of liberty. Our constitution guarantees the right to free speech for a reason and likewise, there is a reason it is the first of our enumerated rights.
The first right, or more accurately four rights, are essential to a free society. You can not have freedom where you do not have the right to speak your mind. No matter how offensive, a person must be free to speak openly. When you silence dissent, then you have the beginning of Tyranny.
That there are so many, right now, cheering these tech companies for silencing conservative voices, is deeply troubling. They are applauding Amazon for buckling to the pressure from Facebook and Twitter to remove Parler from its service. The truly frightening part of this is the number of people who applaud this action. I’m not talking about politicians either, I’, talking about private citizens. Private citizens are cheering the erosion of our rights.
Never mind the fact that according to the FBI, Facebook bears most of the responsibility for January 6th. Never mind the fact that Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg successfully pressured Amazon to remove their rival…a Rival that on the App stores was ranked #1 free app over Facebook and Twitter.
That tech companies and politicians can wield that much power should frighten EVERYONE. Make no mistake, congress is already taking actions against those who protested on January 6th, even those who never entered the Capitol building. There are already calls to drive us Conservatives from society, to take away our bank accounts, businesses and to get us fired from our jobs…all for having the wrong opinions.
Well, my warning remains the same. Those calling for these measures are only adding fuel to the fire. The American People will only tolerate this for so long. Sooner or later, the dam will burst and there will be no way to stop the flood. My other warning to the left is this…Sooner or later, the pendulum will swing the other way. When it does, we will remember what you’ve done…pray we are more forgiving than you are.
